About the Owner
Nakia Dunn is the proud owner of Precision Painting NY Inc, a painting company that was born due to his admiration of his dad, who he used to accompany on painting jobs. Nakia started painting with his dad as a teenager and developed a love for the trade.
Nakia has a vast knowledge of the trade which he learned from working in numerous countries such as Grand Cayman, Bahamas, and The US Virgin Island. Nakia moved to the United States in 2012 and married the love of his life Sherrian, in total they have 5 children. Nakia worked in telecommunications, but that job was not fulfilling, so he decided to go back to what he loved, which was painting. Nakia believes this is his gift and passion, plus he takes pleasure in transforming homes to suit his client’s needs. Nakia’s passion was exactly what drove him into owning his own business and so Precision Painting NY Inc was born.
